Goeglein's Reception Hall was founded in 1951 by Raymond
and Viola Goeglein. Utilizing the barn on the family homestead they opened
a square dance and catering hall. Because of their commitment to customer
service and good food, Goeglein's became a favorite gathering spot for
many groups and organizations.
In 1973 their sons, Larry and Jerry, purchased the family
business. Maintaining the commitment to great service and food, building
on some new ideas, and the implementation of an off premise catering
division, Larry and Jerry built Goeglein's into the largest full service
caterer in the Fort Wayne area.
The family business moved into a third
generation in 1998 when Larry's son Don and Jerry's son Greg bought the
business. With a few new ideas of their own, and the advice and
encouragement of their fathers, Don and Greg look forward to leading
Goeglein's Catering into the new millennium as the continued leader in the
catering industry in the greater Fort Wayne area. Great service and great
tasting food will remain a constant goal for every event we serve.
