Policies & Procedures
-
We retain the exclusive right to supply all food and beverages
at Goeglein's Reception Hall with the exception of wedding cakes and decorated
cakes.

We are licensed by the State of Indiana to provide alcoholic
beverages at Goeglein's Reception Hall or at the location of your choice and
abide by all rules and regulations regarding the serving of alcoholic
beverages.

Any beverages consumed on our premises must be purchased from
Goeglein’s in accordance with State regulations.

You can make changes to your event up to seven days prior to the
event date.

All menus provided are merely suggestions. We will gladly
personalize any menu to meet your needs.

If you would like to have any leftover food, you must give
notice to our catering office prior to your event. Any leftovers not requested
will be donated to local charities.

The amount of leftovers available will not exceed the number of
guests served below your final guest count.

All leftovers will be packaged by Goeglein’s and available at
our catering kitchen following the event.

For an off-premise event all food will be returned to our
kitchen to ensure safe handling.

Leftovers will be held a maximum of 2 days after the event.

Food consumption for an event to be held at Goeglein’s Reception
Halls on a Saturday evening must equal $1500.00 for the Lower Level and
$2000.00 for the Upper Level.

If these minimums are not met there will be an additional charge
of $350.00 for the Lower Level and $450.00 for the Upper Level.

The Food Consumption Minimum includes food sales and room rental
but does not include the 16% Service Charge, Sales Tax, Beverage Charges or
additional labor charges.

We require a guaranteed guest count 8 days prior to your event.

Your guaranteed guest count cannot be decreased, but may be
increased up to 48 hours prior to the event.

We will be prepared to serve up five percent above your
guaranteed count.

You will be billed for the guaranteed count plus guests served
in excess of that number.

Available rental times for Goeglein’s Reception Hall are 7:00 AM
to 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM to Midnight.

All day rental is also available for an additional charge
providing there are no scheduling conflicts.

No Rent is charged for events held at
Goeglein’s Reception Hall in Fort Wayne
that are ordered from our Dinner, Dinner Buffet, Theme Buffet, Hot Luncheon,
Hot Luncheon Buffet, Chilled Luncheon, or Country House
Breakfast menus.

Security is required for Saturday evening events at Goeglein’s
Reception Hall when alcohol is served and for other events at Goeglein's
discretion. Goeglein's is responsible for hiring security and you will be
billed for the cost of the security provided at Goeglein's.

A booking deposit must be paid when reserving our catering
services. An event is firm upon receipt of the booking deposit and signed
contract.

The booking deposit is required within one week of your receipt
of our contract.

If you should cancel your reservation, your booking deposit will
be returned when a signed contract and deposit have been received from another
customer for the same time and same room(s) reserved by you.

For wedding receptions, Goeglein's requires a catering deposit
equal to 50% of the proposal within 7 days of its receipt. The remaining
balance of your proposal must be paid 8 days prior to your reception. We will
submit an invoice after the reception for additional billing or a refund based
on any changes from the estimate. Your catering deposit will be refunded if
you cancel 30 days prior to the date of your event.

Prices are subject to change without notice up to 60 days before
your event.

All prices subject to applicable sales taxes.

Please add a 16% Service charge to food and beverage items where
applicable. The service charge does not apply to rentals, labor, picnics,
deliveries, or pick-ups.

For off-premise events, many venues in the area charge catering
fees. If the venue for your event charges a catering fee, it will be invoiced
to you by Goeglein's and then paid to the venue by Goeglein's. Check with your
venue or Goeglein’s to determine if a catering fee applies.

The organization or individual renting property from Goeglein's
Catering will be financially responsible for damages to any property equal to
the cost of the repair or replacement.

Goeglein’s cannot assume responsibility for personal property
and equipment brought onto the premises.

Goeglein's will not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged
items on our premises.

For the safety of you and your guests, we do not allow the use
of confetti, rice or bottles of bubbles at our facility.

To maintain the quality of our facility, we do not allow
customers to attach materials to any surface in our hall without first making
arrangements with the catering office.

Customers are not allowed to move, remove, or alter any existing
decorations in our facility. Please see our staff if you desire to have
changes made.
